Elizabeth was angry—and for good reasons. Her father and brother were killed by gang violence. Her other brothers are in jail. Severe behavioral problems kept her moving from school to school. Until Norma, a Youth Outreach Worker with Vision Youth, reached out to Elizabeth as a mentor. Now Elizabeth is focused on giving to and loving others.

The power of relationships to give hope to our youth, potential to the world

Impact:
7,062 children and at-risk youth were tutored, mentored and engaged in positive recreational activities by Vision Youth role models in 2004.
