    Vision Youth
    • Using the power of one-on-one mentoring relationships,Vision Youth helps troubled children and teens rise above the poverty and other difficulties and discover hope for their future. For World Vision Youth Outreach Workers (YOWs) hospital emergency rooms, street corners, and basketball courts are places of ministry. YOWs work one-on-one with at-risk students, offering spiritual, personal, and academic guidance, as well as a loving adult and a caring church home, to children that might otherwise fall through the cracks. Investing in the lives of these students can have a life changing impact. Staff Contact: Ken Benson at 773.921.3900 ext. 326.
    • KidREACH supports churches as they establish after-school and Saturday tutoring programs for school children. World Vision trains tutors, provides resources, and offers limited financial funding for churches that are ready to act on this vision. Currently, there are approximately 125 tutors helping 235 children at eight sites across Chicago. Staff Contact: Laura Humbles at 773.921.3900 ext. 324.

    CityLINC Volunteering
Each year World Vision Chicago places 2,000 volunteers with local ministry and non-profit organizations for an opportunity to serve in Chicago’s urban neighborhoods. Each year, more than 1,000 people volunteer through World Vision’s volunteer program. At an average rate, this represents almost $70,000 in donated hours each year. Church & Community
World Vision’s Church & Community program is a vehicle to unite and educate local churches through fellowship, mentorship, and programs that identify and provide resources to meet needs within the body of Christ. World Vision also educates the body of believers about issues of global importance. Staff Contact: Vanessa Church at 773.921.3900 ext. 329.

When you partner with World Vision by sponsoring a child for $30 a month, you become an agent of transformation for that child. And it will change your life as much as theirs.
