World Vision’s Love Loaf Program serves to unite your congregation with God's heart. When the families in your congregation raise funds through Love Loaf, you will bring hope to hurting and impoverished children and communities. And by participating in Love Loaf, your church's families can join over 280,000 families in America to help provide crucial necessities: clean water, steady food supply, education, health care and the love of Christ.It's a tremendous opportunity to radically change lives -- today and for eternity!
Money raised through the Love Loaf program in the fall of 2003 will help support orphans and children in crisis around the world.
How does the Love Loaf Program Work?
- The Love Loaf program lasts 4 weeks
- Each church family takes a Love Loaf home to place in a prominent spot, like the kitchen table, and fills the Love Loaf with coins and bills
- At the end of the program, families return to church with their Love Loaves for a Love Loaf Harvest
- Your church can keep up to 50 percent of the offering to use for your own missions and outreach
What Materials Are Included?
When you sign-up for the FREE Love Loaf materials, World Vision will send you everything you need to do the program.
- A Love Loaf for each family in your church
- A 4-week Family Devotional booklet, filled with scripture, stories, activities and talking points
- A colorful poster to promote your Love Loaf program
- Five weeks of bulletin inserts with information on how your church is helping orphans and vulnerable children around the world (may be copied and placed into church bulletins)
- Speaking Points for Pastors
- Children's Sunday school curriculum with fun activities and relevant stories! (Must be ordered separately)
