    Who is World Vision?

World Vision is a Christian relief and development organization dedicated to helping children and their communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty. World Vision serves the world’s poor – regardless of a person’s religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.

As one of the largest Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) in the world, World Vision served 100 million people in nearly 100 countries, including 2.4 million children through sponsorship, in fiscal 2004. The organization raised $1.55 billion (US) in cash and goods for its work to combat poverty and employed 20,000 staff members.
